Here Is How You Can Help Israel After the War

Here-Is-How-You-Can-Help-Israel-After-the-War The Israel Store

“Now that the war is over, what can I do to help Israel?”
“Can I do something that actually helps rebuild lives, not just talk about it?”

If you’ve asked these questions, thank you. Thank you for refusing to treat Israel’s pain like another passing headline. Thank you for not moving on just because the media did. Questions like these come from people who don’t want to play armchair supporter, they want to take action. Real action. And yes, the answer is: you can.

New York Stands with Israel

This is not the time for soft words or vague sentiments. Israel doesn’t need pity. It needs partners. After a war that cost lives, homes, dignity, and stability - this is the moment. Here’s how you step up.

1. Buy Israeli. It’s not a gesture. It’s a lifeline.

There are families in the north and south of Israel whose businesses are hanging by a thread. Farmers who couldn’t harvest. Artisans who stopped creating and joined the war. Store owners whose buildings were bombed. They don’t need handouts, they need customers.

When you shop at The Israel Store, you’re choosing to support real Israelis trying to get back on their feet after war. Every order helps someone rebuild. Feed their kids. Reopen their shop and come back to *normal* life.

Buy Israeli products for yourself. For your home. As gifts. And tell people why. This is one of the simplest and most powerful forms of resistance to the international boycott and BDS movement. You don’t have to carry a protest sign.

2. Speak the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.

The war may be over, but the lies aren’t. On campuses, in boardrooms, across social media - the hatred of Israel hasn’t slowed down. It’s gotten bolder. Louder. More shameless.

So be the one who answers back.

When someone spreads false accusations apartheid, genocide, settler colonialism, don’t stay quiet to keep the peace. Don’t let the conversation slide because you don’t want to be “divisive.” That silence is what fuels their confidence.

You don’t need to be a scholar to push back. You just need courage. Say: “No, that’s not true.” Then share the facts. Tell the truth. Even if your voice shakes.

3. Support the survivors

Yes, we pray for the IDF. We celebrate the heroes. But there are civilians whose lives will never return to normal. People who witnessed horrors, who survived the massacre and lost their friends and family.

Help them. You don’t need to be in Israel to support those rebuilding after loss. Promote awareness. Share links to real survivor stories. Encourage your church or community to “adopt” a family or sponsor rebuilding projects. If you can give, give. If you can’t, use your voice to rally others.

These people are not statistics. They are your brothers and sisters in the Land.

4. Pray. Loudly, specifically, and often.

If you believe in God, then don’t underestimate prayer. Don’t treat it as the “only thing left to do.” It should be the first.

Pray for the hostages. Pray for the families. Pray for the soldiers. Pray for the government to act with courage and wisdom. Pray for the land to be protected, physically, economically, and spiritually.

The Bible commands it clearly:
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure.”  (Psalm 122:6)

Post your prayers. Share them with others. Say them in your congregation. Make it known that you will not forget, and you will not stop praying.

5. Cut support to Israel’s enemies

Don’t say you love Israel and then keep supporting companies, celebrities, or politicians who fund, promote, or excuse antisemitism.

That means:

  • Don’t buy from brands that supported the October 7 terrorists or tried to “both sides” the massacre.

  • Don’t vote for politicians who condemn Israel but stay silent when Jews are butchered.

  • Don’t give platforms to influencers who glamorize Hamas and call it “resistance.”

Supporting Israel means making hard choices. It means aligning your money, your voice, and your influence with truth. Even when it costs.

6. Keep showing up after everyone else forgets.

The hardest part isn’t caring when rockets are flying. It’s caring when things get quiet again. That’s when people go back to their lives. That’s when the support dries up. That’s when Israel is left to deal with the wreckage while the world pretends nothing happened.

So be different.

Keep buying your olive oil, honey or Shofars Israeli businesses. Keep posting about Israel when it's no longer trending. Keep calling out lies long after the headlines fade. Keep caring when everyone else has moved on.

Consistency is what separates the true friends of Israel from the fair-weather ones.

You don’t need to live in Israel to stand with Israel. You don’t need to speak Hebrew or serve in the army to make a difference. But you do need to do something.

So don’t just ask what you can do. Decide what you will do.
The war may be over, but the mission has just begun.

Start here. Start now.
