Customer chat and our AI assistant
Our website chat is provided by Tidio. Chats are first answered by an AI assistant (Lyro, by Tidio), which tells you at the start of the conversation that it is an AI. You can ask for a human at any time. When you use the chat we process what you type, your name and email address if you give them, and technical data such as your browser and the page you are on, to answer your questions and provide customer support. Chat transcripts are stored by Tidio on our behalf.
Cookies and third party services
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the store to work, such as your cart, checkout, payment and security. We use analytics and marketing cookies only after you accept them in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie preferences link. The third party services on our website are:
- Shopify: store hosting, checkout and analytics
- PayPal: payments, including the PayPal button on product pages
- Cloudflare: security checks
- YouTube: embedded videos
- Judge.me: product reviews
- Mailchimp: newsletter and marketing emails
- Tidio: customer chat
- Proof Bear: shows recent purchase notifications using a customer’s first name, country and the product bought. We block it from loading fonts from Google's servers.
Newsletter and marketing emails
We send marketing emails only to people who have actively opted in and confirmed their subscription. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. For recipients in Israel, every advertising email is marked פרסומת at the start of the subject line, as required by the Communications Law.
Comments and reviews
If you post a comment on our blog or a product review, we process your name, email address and the content you submit. Your name and content are shown publicly. Your email address is not published. See our Customer Reviews Policy.
Children
Our services are not directed to children. Some of our products are made for children, but they are intended to be bought by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Union and Israel), and our advertising is not directed to children.
Customers in Israel
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the right to review the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Providing personal information to us is voluntary, but we cannot process an order or answer a request without the details needed for it. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority.
