Accessibility Statement for The Israel Store
At The Israel Store, we are dedicated to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Standard
We aim to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 (based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.0, level AA) as required under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and WCAG 2.1 level AA for our customers in other countries.
What we have done
- The site is built on an accessible Shopify theme with keyboard navigation, visible focus states and a set page language.
- Product images have text descriptions, and form fields have labels.
- An accessibility menu (the icon at the bottom of each page) lets you adjust text size, spacing, contrast, color modes and fonts, highlight links and headings, and pause animations.
Known limitations
Some features provided by third-party apps, such as pop-ups, review widgets and the chat window, may not yet be fully accessible, and some older images may lack descriptions. We are working with these providers and reviewing our content to fix these issues. If you cannot complete a purchase or find information because of an accessibility barrier, contact us and we will help you place your order by email or phone.
